I redesigned BlueFoxHost’s marketing website using only HTML and CSS, focusing on a cleaner layout, better perceived performance, and a modern responsive experience across devices. BlueFoxHost presents itself as a reliable and affordable hosting provider, so the redesign prioritized clarity, trust, and “fast-to-scan” content structure.

Overview

BlueFoxHost is a hosting provider with a community presence and public-facing marketing footprint that needs to quickly communicate plans, trust, and support pathways. My redesign goal was to modernize the site visually while keeping implementation simple and maintainable with a pure HTML/CSS build.

My role

I handled the redesign end-to-end (design + implementation) and shipped a static front-end that improved readability and consistency without adding framework complexity. The work stayed intentionally lightweight: semantic HTML structure plus modern CSS for layout, responsiveness, and polish.

What I changed

  • Improved overall layout hierarchy (sections, spacing, and typography) so key information is easier to scan and understand quickly.

  • Built a responsive structure that adapts cleanly across common breakpoints (mobile, tablet, desktop) using CSS layout primitives rather than JavaScript.

  • Enhanced visual quality with consistent components (buttons, cards, nav/footer patterns) and more cohesive styling to create a modern look.

Tech and constraints

  • Stack: HTML + CSS only (no JS frameworks).

  • Approach: mobile-first responsive CSS, reusable utility-like patterns, and performance-friendly styling choices (minimal overhead, fewer dependencies).

Outcome

The result is a modern, responsive website experience that better matches BlueFoxHost’s positioning as a stable, customer-friendly hosting provider, while keeping the codebase simple and easy to maintain.
